Again and again there are external or internal developments and events in our lives that cause us concern and temporarily affect our quality of life. This app can help you reduce such worries. The problem with such external events is often that we often have no way of doing something quickly and sustainably to get rid of them. This helplessness can make us discouraged, sad, anxious, worried, tired and even listless.Sometimes these concerns are valid, sometimes unfounded. Its not about whether it makes sense to worry or not. Meaningful worries are not a burden, but rather they help to react quickly in a difficult situation by supplying the body with enough energy. But if you cant do anything, if you dont have the power to change something, this "more energy" is meaningless. It cannot be mined properly and becomes exhausted over time. All in all, this leads to feeling even more powerless, sometimes discouraged and hopeless. These worries have a lasting impact on quality of life. The good thing is: you can do something about this special effect!Because actually it makes no sense that worries that we can neither act nor improve or change anything impair our quality of life. How nice would it be if we could keep track of the reason for the worries, but without them negatively affecting our everyday life? Why cant we just control and switch off these negative feelings ourselves? One of the reasons for this is that your mind, with which you think such thoughts, is located in a completely different area than the brain region in which fears and worries are triggered. This brain region is so old that it cannot do much with the “word language” that emerged relatively late in human development. But this old brain region knows a different language, it is probably the oldest "language" in the world - it works exclusively with images that are associated with emotions.Since our fear/worry brain doesnt understand the word language, neither the realization that worrying doesnt get you anywhere, nor all the clever sentences like "It will be fine" or "What happens, what should happen anyway I get upset” etc. The worries remain. However, one can learn to talk to this brain region precisely by imagining images that convey an appropriate message. And as modern brain research confirms, such imaginations work fantastically. Because this brain region has no will of its own, amazing results can be achieved by just using the right images to show that brain region what to do or how to behave. In this way, the following imagination can specifically address this deeper brain region and help you to reduce worry to a healthy level. It is actually quite simple.Important note: If worries last longer or lead to anxiety attacks and/or permanently impair your life, you should consult your doctor or a therapist immediately. This app cannot and does not intend to replace therapy. It can only help you to feel calmer and better in situations in which you are burdened by external events. The text underlying the app is based on the work and insights of Milton Erickson, Gunther Schmidt, Virginia Satir, Friedemann Schulz von Thun and many others.
